Acrylics
27 x 27 cm

This is my own version of Roy Lichtenstein's "Girl with Hair Ribbon".
I added some shadows and changed the colors (these are more like
"my" colors). It almost looks like my usual works, except for the
cartoonish style.

Anyway. I just needed to do something fun and easy.

I like it. The style works great with the colors. You make me feel shame for calling myself an artist with how many pieces you make, lol. I just need to step up to the late I guess and get painting! Lovely piece.

I don't usually paint this much. I have no idea what has gotten into me. Maybe it's the holidays. :)

I don't know really, where the inspiration comes from. Sometimes it just comes to me when I'm out buying food or sitting on the bus or whatever. I just see a picture in my mind for a couple of seconds and I know that is what I'm going to do. But most of the times those ideas are just too hard so I write them down and hope that I can paint them some day. :) I don't know. I guess I look at a lot of pictures too.

Thanks. It's a wonderful picture, I hope Lichtenstein wouldn't mind if he saw that. :)
